October Fun at Fellowship

We are a week into pumpkin season at Fellowship. Over 2900 pumpkins were delivered at a total weight around 43,000 lbs. Anyone who was here last week to help unload the truck can attest to the fact that they all seemed bigger than last year! The turn out for the great pumpkin toss was over 120, a new record for Fellowship. The wind tried to blow away our cookout, but in true Lutheran style, we perservered and ate anyway. Thanks to everyone who came out to help. Please don't miss the opportunity to serve in the Pumpkin Patch this October. Look for the sign up sheet in the Narthex and fill your name in for a shift.

Maundy Thursday

Do you remember where the word "Maundy" comes from, as in Maundy Thursday? It comes from the Latin word "mandatum," and translates as "command."

Which command? "A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you." - John 13:34

Come celebrate that new command with us on Thursday night. A meal will be served at 6:15pm followed by Holy Communion at 7pm.

Lenten Services

Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:15pm for a light supper followed by a devotional service at 7:00pm. Join in the Fellowship of our church family and experience a spiritual recharge during your busy week.

Mark your calendars: Men's breakfast will continue to be held on the second Saturday of each month at 8:30 am.

Souper Bowl

Join us in making a donation to the "Souper Bowl" and fight hunger. Our donations will be going to the Lutheran Social Services Food Pantry in Columbus, Ohio. In addition, whatever we raise in the Souper Bowl will be matched with funds from the 2010 Pumpkin Patch.

Fourth Annual Wii Bowling Tournament

Come on out this Saturday at 6:30 pm for the fourth annual Wii Bowling Tournament. Pizza and Beverages will be provided. All ages welcome. Now that your pumpkin throwing muscles have had time to heal, start limbering up your (Wii) Bowling arm.
