A Special Word

On the weekend of May 15th, Daniel Rosh was in central Florida participating in a fund-raising bicycle ride supporting the Mid-Florida chapter of the MS Society and not proudly watching the 2009 Catechism class get confirmed. Best Wishes class – wish I could have been there!
During the weekend, Daniel joined 14 other riders from Cardinal Health (his employer) plus 1200 other riders, riding 100, 150, or 200 miles that weekend. Daniel choose the 100 mile route; riding 50 miles on Saturday from Lake Wales to the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, and returning back to Lake Wales on Sunday. Despite the humid 90 degree heat and the rolling hills covered with orange groves, he finished tired and saddle sore, but without injury or accident to himself or any woodland creatures.
“It was a great experience to join over a 1,000 other riders in something so much bigger than me and in support of a wonderful organization. The Cardinal Health team raised just under $17,000 in donations and the entire event raised over $1.1 million in donations. The impact of my small effort will make a real difference in the lives of those who are fighting MS today and in the lives of those people who will be diagnosed tomorrow.”
