October Fun at Fellowship

We are a week into pumpkin season at Fellowship. Over 2900 pumpkins were delivered at a total weight around 43,000 lbs. Anyone who was here last week to help unload the truck can attest to the fact that they all seemed bigger than last year! The turn out for the great pumpkin toss was over 120, a new record for Fellowship. The wind tried to blow away our cookout, but in true Lutheran style, we perservered and ate anyway. Thanks to everyone who came out to help. Please don't miss the opportunity to serve in the Pumpkin Patch this October. Look for the sign up sheet in the Narthex and fill your name in for a shift.

Sad News from the Pumpkin Patch

Unfortunately, our pumpkin patch was vandalized on Monday night. About $1000 worth of pumpkins were destroyed, apparently with a golf club. The mess has been cleaned up and more pumpkins are on the way, arriving on Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm.
